Zia has been in the practice of Sacred Dance – learning, teaching, performing for over two decades and continues to explore her inner spiritual path through her passion of sacred dance and healthcare.
Originating from ancient Sufi traditions, the Whirling Dervish meditation and Gurdjieff Movements (also known as Sacred Gymnastics), works our spiritual muscles and brings resiliency to our perceptions. The practice will include centering exercises and sacred movements from the works of George Gurdjieff – an Armenian mystic from the early 1900’s and the whirling meditation is a journey into mystical realms. Whirling Mandala™ founded by Zia Nath, are whirling dances inspired from the ancient gypsies, Rajasthani ‘ghumrao’ and sufi traditions.
Music and poetry, rhythm and stillness, silent sitting are important elements that condition and refine our experiences.
Practiced as an active meditation, this work is unique as it centres us in the balance of duality.
We find stillness in motion and maintain balance with our inner compass.
We move inward for transformation and awaken to our witness consciousness.
A single session of this ancient practice gave him a deep sense of bliss and a feeling of having finally ‘returned home”. He immediately signed up for a 45-day intense Teachers Training session with the world’s best known Kundalini Yoga Guru, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa.
The profound impact that the teachings of Kundalini Yoga had upon his mind, body and soul made him vow to spread these teachings for the remainder of his life.
Kundalini Yoga is a practice that uses Mantras, Kriyas, and Mudras that go deep into your subconscious mind and connect you with your suppressed emotions of grief, anger, pain and toxic relationships.
This ancient and revered science then facilitates the healing of these negative energies and the result is your reconnection with the cosmic vibration of love, bliss, and harmony.
The ultimate aim of Kundalini Yoga is Chakras alignment, Aura expansion and ascension of the consciousness to a higher plane of existence.
A destination perfect to reset and recharge your busy and stressful life while soothing your soul, healing and pampering your body, and refreshing your mind.
Ranked by Conde Nast as the second most luxurious wellness resort in India, Atmantan is sure to make your spirit soar and your body relax.
